Dr Mahmood Y Abdulla earned his MA from Portsmouth University and a PhD from Loughborough University in the UK. He was awarded a Diploma with Distinction Award in freelance writing from the London School of Journalism. Dr Abdulla has dedicated the past thirty-five years of his career as a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in London.
Dr Abdulla has taught post-graduate students at Birkbeck, University of London, and in the community organisation the Islamic Institute for Post-Graduate Studies, where had been appointed as the executive dean of the institute, that was affiliated to the Winchester University in the UK.
Academic qualifications and professional experience apart, Dr Abdulla has participated in community charitable activities since the age of sixteen. He held several voluntary executive posts in community organisations. Public speaking is his main hobby, which has greatly contributed in his extensive travels. During the course of 45 years, after completing his studies, he lectured in 80 community centres in 51 cities across four continents in Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and Canada.
